Capilano Suspension Bridge offers many exciting activities, attracting tourists from all over the globe. The beauty of Canyon Lights is your group can try walking the famous maze-like footbridges, Suspension Bridge and Cliff Walk, all while marveling at the intricate light displays that add a special holiday flair to the already spectacular nature park. Make sure you don’t miss Treetops Adventure, which is home to the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world!

Sing Along to Your Favourite Seasonal Tunes

What better way to get into the holiday spirit than to join in on your favourite Christmas Carols? At the beginning of each season, The Capilano team hires trained musicians, dressed in heartwarming holiday outfits, who will no doubt to get you singing along to your favourite Santa Clause ensemble.

Decorate (and eat!) a classic holiday treat… Gingerbread cookies!

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without decorating a few (dozen?) cookies! And don’t let the kids have all the fun, the gingerbread station welcomes all ages. By donation, Canyon Lights offers homemade gingerbread cookies for the entire clan to enjoy. Tip: swing by to try the mouthwatering hot chocolate at Dr. Wood’s Cabin, for a winning holiday combo you can’t beat.

Don’t Forget to Grab a Bite!

All this fun will work up an appetite! At Canyon Lights, there are goodies for everyone! If baked goods and warming beverages are your thing, stop by Dr. Wood’s Cabin for some delectable sweets, there may even be some holiday themed treats to sample! For a quick bite, and great for families with young children, The Logger’s Grill offers a mouthwatering selection of burgers and hotdogs. If your group is visiting the park during the day, the newly open and beautifully situated and newly renamed Bridge House café, across from the entrance to the park on Capilano Road, is the spot for you. The new menu provides a focus on locally sourced ingredients for the perfect West Coast casual dining experience.
