As families and friends gear up for egg hunting and chocolate-induced comas over the long Easter weekend, here is a list of what’s happening in North Van.



Kids ages two to nine are invited to hop on over to Heywood Park (Marine Drive and Hamilton Avenue) for some Easter fun!  Don’t forget your Easter basket for the chocolate egg hunt.  It will start at 10:30am SHARP (while supplies last)! There will also be face painting, balloon animals, a bouncy castle and entertainment to enjoy!  Event will take place rain or shine.


You’re invited to Lynn Valley Village for some awesome Easter family fun on March 31 between 1pm – 3pm! There will be a treasure hunt, craft workshops, games and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Event will take place rain or shine.


Get your baskets ready! The Easter Bunny and the Easter egg hunt are back at the Market! Meet us at the Easter Headquarters by the Cheshire Cheese Restaurant to discover different vendors on the Retail level while collecting Easter eggs on Sunday, April 1st. There will be eggs hidden in each of the Retail Level stores and at Olde World Confections for participants to collect! Collect 5 eggs to redeem a treat bag filled with goodies from Olde World Confections, Cobs Bread and Perform Art Studios (while supplies last).

Detailed Schedule:
10:00AM – 11:00AM: Easter egg hunt
10:00AM – 02:00PM: Easter crafts, Balloon twisting & Face painting ($)
10:30AM – 11:30AM: Easter Bunny visit
12:00PM – 1:00PM Kid’s Cookie Decorating workshop with El Dorado Pie & Treats

Hop in and join us for Easter fun at the pool! We will have an Easter Egg Hunt from 1:00-1:30pm, meet in the Ron Andrews lobby. Then join us for a special Easter themed swim from 1:30-3:30pm. There will be fun activities and chocolate! Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult within arm’s reach.
